My Ideas For Path of Exile

So many ideas lets start with Gems.

Gems - The current situation with gems (imo) is that there are alot of melee ones that aren't really used or touched, and just as many spells that are not really viable.

I think some buffs are in order for the current gems that aren't seeing alot of usage.

Trigger Gems?- There are currently only 6 and i think expanding on trigger gems would open up a variety of different builds.

For example the 2 current trigger gems i have in mind are

*Cast on % life leech ( so basically this would be mostly for claw users who cant really use any trigger gems unless they go for a high crit % and use coc) allowing users a chance to cast linked gems everytime they leech a certain % of life would be awesome

*Cast on Melee Stun
Tanky marauders see no viable option for trigger gems because they cant possibly get a huge crit chance.

However marauders do have the possibility to build up a nice stun chance%.
This trigger gem would make tanks ALOT more fun.


More Variety Of Support Gems
The more support gems the more build possibilities. However there are certain support gems that almost noone uses that should receive buffs or changes.



Armour

We have helmets, boots, weapons, chest, gloves, shields...

it appears pants and capes are missing in the scenario.

Adding capes and pants would allow stronger builds, more unique builds, and more theory crafting.

This isnt a pressing issue but i sure as heck would love to see this implemented.


Uniques

There seems to be a lack luster of uniques that are truly game changing such as the mjolnir and coe.

In particular Claws and Tanks don't have many game changing uniques.

My particular ideas for Uniques

Infernal Explosion
Base Item : Dream Mace
-Reduce Physical Damage 40%
Melee Spells/Attacks have 50% mana multiplier
Enemies Slain By Melee Attacks Have Infernal Blow lvl 30 Applied
+Attack Speed 30%
+Fire Damage 30%

Base Item : Prehistoric Claw
+500% More Unarmed Physical Damage

+50% Attack Speed

+5% of Physical Damage Leeched As Life

Base Item : Arcanist Slippers
Casting does not restrict movment ( can move around while casting )
-10% reduced all elemental resist
-20% reduced movement speed
+50% increased spell damage
+70 Max Mana
+30 Intelligence

Base Item : Gladiator Plate
When hit 30% Chance to Cast Ice Nova
-45% Reduced Cold Resistance
+50% Maximum Life
150% Armour
+3 to level of Cold Gems

Convalesce
Base Item : Vaal Regalia
Gain 1% Spell and Physical Damage for every 1% of Maximum health maintained
20% reduced total armor and energy Shield
+ 120 Maximum Health
+ 200 Maximum Energy Shield
+5% of spell and physical Damage Leeched as Life
+20 Health for every enemy hit
take 40% increased total Damage

I would get the idea of pants and capes out of your head for anything but as a MTX, there will be way to much balancing to get it right before they implement it(and yes it would...they aint going to just add them when they are happy with the current stat balance)

lost me in the claws... imagine dual claws + facebreakers... to get those stats to stay it would have to have a huge drawback

Yeah that + facebreakers would be an insane amount of damage without any real negative aspect. If it didnt allow you to use an offhand (shield/second wep/quiver) then I think it would be more viable.
