Chromatic Orb broke my 5L into 4L !

I recently bought a 5L armor,it was 4G 1R, i needed 3G 2R so i used a chromatic orb on it. Color changed,alright. But one of my links between sockets also got broken and it became a 4L. I mean how is this possible? Does chromatic orbs have a chance to do so? People telling me i probably accidently used a fusing orb, but i dont even have any fusing orb.. I really want to know if this is a bug or chromatics actually do that?

Chromatic orbs only change the color of the sockets, not the links between the sockets themselves(Orb of Fusing).

God's sake. i only had 6 chromatic orbs and the chest armor im wearing in my inventory. How could I exactly misclick on an orb of fusing that i dont even have. I spammed the chromatics on the armor and its now 4L, 1 socket is out of a link.

No, it definitely didn't !
What have we learned from this ? Don't put scouring / jewelers/ fusing next to other orbs :) GORLAK SMASH WORDS!!

This should probably be in the Support forum, if it happened it's definitely a bug.

Theres no bug man, played here for year and half, spammed countless chromatics at items, thousands, and never had one change the links on any given item.

How can you be so sure that i didnt had some kind of bug? Telling that my inventory only had chromatics and the armor,i always carry my items into an empty area before i do anything on them,specially if i paid a good price for something like 5L armor.
Anyway,obviously no one's gonna believe this situation of mine -which im 100% that its occured-, so no reason to waste effort. |
