Should they increase the drop rate of orbs? And if so, how much?
Bump for opinions.

Would it hurt the economy that much to bump up the orb drops? Prices for items would simply mirror the increase but people would actually be able to spend orbs more freely which is what a lot of people want. I'm not asking to increase the drop rate to like %500 of what it is now, but any increase would be nice. People spend huge time investments and money to support this game. For many people, myself included, this is their favorite game. I love Poe which is why I keep coming back to play, even after i've ripped my life savings in HC repeatedly. More orb drops would not affect the economy all that much, but it would improve player happiness in my opinion.

It is too late now anyway to increase the droprates of the orbs when the game is out for so long. The drop rates was not my only problem, but that the endgame is very repetetive, boring and meaningless.

" Time SPEND, not invested. If claim you haven't found ANYTHING since 2012 I'm quite sure you have no idea what items have value. Trading is an important part of this game. If you don't trade, don't expect to get wealthy. If you are playing for teh-legendary-uber-drops go D3 - they have stuff you'll like. " Grinding. What did you expect? Meaningless, lol. Playing video games is "meaningless". Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.

What is increasing orb drop rates gonna do? Prices inflate for those that play trade sim, and those that don't have alittle more to work with. BIS rare items may get alittle easier to produce but that can be stopped by removing or keeping/lower eternal drop rates. Exalts and lower should definitely be bumped up significantly.

" Thanks, I'll check it out. I just thought PoE was an ARPG, but looks like it's some sort of trading simulator. I like that people were joking about D3 being a trading simulator, and then Blizzard removed the AH, and PoE replaced its place. Last edited by dspair#3915 on Jul 9, 2014, 4:01:48 AM

whats funny is people say increase drop rates, when they legacy the one thing that really affects drop rates. IIQ. Yes you can still get it but for a brand new players it is a lot harder to and that leads to less drops, so I could never understand why they would legacy IIQ just to increase orb drop rates. And if you say they did it to have items drop less they would have legacy'd IIR

People still play standard after GGG killed it?

would you all accept a item wipe after 15 months for higher drop rates and better crafting?
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" That's a tough call, but then again, most of the community starts fresh every four months. If the itemization and economy get reworked from the ground up I'd personally be willing to pay the piper for the greater good. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
