Season Eight, Event 140: 1 Hour No Projectiles Immolation Solo

Top Prizes:

The overall alive top player by experience will receive 3 Reward Points.

The top 20 alive players of each class by experience will receive:
  • #1 player of each class: Demigod's Bounty (Unique Golden Obi) and 10 Reward Points
  • #2 player of each class: 6 Reward Points
  • #3 player of each class: 5 Reward Points
  • #4 player of each class: 4 Reward Points
  • #5 player of each class: 3 Reward Points
  • #6-10 player of each class: 2 Reward Points
  • #11-20 player of each class: 1 Reward Point


Prizes for reaching specific levels and staying alive:
  • Level 22: 10 Reward Points
  • Level 19-21: 7 Reward Points
  • Level 16-18: 6 Reward Points
  • Level 13-15: 5 Reward Points
  • Level 10-12: 4 Reward Points
  • Level 7-9: 3 Reward Points
  • Level 4-6: 1 Reward Point


Quest Prizes:
The first player to complete each of these quests wins the prize listed.
  • Normal difficulty Medicine Chest (Tidal Island): 2 Reward Points
  • Normal difficulty Brutus (Upper Prison): 2 Reward Points
  • Normal difficulty Fairgraves (Ship Graveyard): 2 Reward Points
  • Normal difficulty Deep Dweller (Flooded Depths): 2 Reward Points
  • Cruel difficulty Medicine Chest (Tidal Island): 2 Reward Points
  • Cruel difficulty Fairgraves (Ship Graveyard): 2 Reward Points
  • Cruel difficulty Deep Dweller (Flooded Depths): 2 Reward Points


Full-clear Prizes:
The first player to kill all of the monsters in any of the following areas will receive:
  • Normal difficulty Fetid Pool: 2 Reward Points
  • Normal difficulty Old Fields Cave: 2 Reward Points
  • Normal difficulty Dread Thicket: 2 Reward Points
  • Normal difficulty Catacombs: 2 Reward Points
  • Cruel difficulty Fetid Pool: 2 Reward Points
  • Cruel difficulty Old Fields Cave: 2 Reward Points
  • Cruel difficulty Dread Thicket: 2 Reward Points
  • Cruel difficulty Catacombs: 2 Reward Points


Random Prizes:
Each Reward Point you earn in this race counts as a ticket in a random draw for one of the following items:
  • Alternate Art Lifesprig Unique Item (15 available to be won)
  • Alternate Art Pillar of the Caged God Unique Item (10 available to be won)
  • Alternate Art Berek's Pass Unique Item (5 available to be won)
So how would you run this race as a witch? Just for the heck of it I tried it in the past. Wand is projectile so it's useless. I checked a few chests on Twilight but no weapon. I managed to kill Hillock unarmed but it took forever. Then what? Raise zombies? Buy a melee weapon? Witch doesn't get a non-projectile skill until mercy mission or eggs.

The last no-projectile race was event 122 and a witch had the #1 position. What am I missing? The only options I see are brute force, hope for twilight weapon or maybe a gem drop, then use zombies until eggs reward. That just seems like it would be awfully slow starting out.

I don't know how top players do ,but you can Mule Fire Trap from a Shadow, it takes less than two minutes.

(then as a witch ,get Ice nova from Mercy, then Firestorm from Eggs quest )

it gives you a full AoE set of skills.

Ok, but how does that make you competitive? Other classes start with a skill and you are forced either to mule or brute force your way to eggs (which is absurd and will take forever)

the point is u can still achieve a high level, while having less competition as an underplayed class allowing for easier top x in y class.

Note to self: If you are going to use Alt + F4 to get yourself out of trouble, MAKE SURE you didn't die before you play a character in standard for 20 minutes LMAO! Shoulda noticed that there was no ground fire under my kills. Oh well - 30 minute solo Immolation for me =D
no drops, 1-2 blue every crypt
