Permanent Skin Transfers

Please? I've spent a lot (for me) on this game and this is pretty much the guaranteed way to make me spend more. Even if it's $15 per item ($2 higher than the average price of the Seraph set), it's something I really really really want.
We'll call these "Effect Creators". You buy the creator, you right click it, you left click an item. A popup similar to the skin transfer appears, but it notes that the item is permanently lost. Then the skinned item appears full size in your microtransaction window, after which it can be applied and reclaimed like most microtransactions. Some pictures of existing things for reference, and what would replace them...

Microtransaction Window (BEFORE)
 Effect Creator Item Skin Permanently destroys one item to create a reusable skin transfer effect. Right click this item, then left click the item you wish to take the appearance from. The item will be permanently destroyed.
Warning Popup
 This will destroy <item> and create a permanent effect that grants its appearance to other items. This cannot be undone.
Microtransaction Window (AFTER)
<item name> Effect <itemtype> Skin (This would hopefully reflect the actual item type, body armor etc. to tell you what you can transfer it onto) Gives your <itemtype> the appearance of <skinned item>. I would love it, especially for those beautiful race rewards rotting in stash.

this, really really this. As it stands right now, the current skin transfer is even slightly pay to win. Considering that you can store two of similar item type in the same slot. While that is not a huge problem and I still think the temporary skin transfers has its place in the game. Permanent skin transfers would allow users to really show of their race winnings, and unique items they have found. Right now I have many great looking race uniques in my stash, but I don't ever use them because I only play temp leagues, and I can only use them in one league, after that they're forever stuck in HC or Standard.
