They could have improved the non-summer uniques, added doubles of all uniques to the starter chests and added various gems to the progression chests. Would have been plenty of time for players to adapt if theyd done it around the seasons halfway mark, and old records wouldnt have been obsolete long as nothing was actually removed.

This is also the second time theyve claimed they were going to change, or were considering changing, bits of the signature race and have in the end done nothing. Hard to tell if they didnt actually read the resulting feedback, didnt understand it or just forgot about it entirely.
