RPG Codex posts pics for top 70 cRPGs

So Codex just ranked their top 70 RPGs. Any you love didn't make the list?

Heya, ToEE and Arx Fatalis made the list. Cool.

While I detest the manners of an average Jew-hating, slur-slinging, unwashed Codexer, I admire the taste they have for role-playing games. It's just too bad there aren't more of turn-based RPGs around nowadays, but thank God that this year's Kickstarter projects are going to put back J in Justice.

ToEE is such a gem, rebought it recently and still love it.

And what's even funnier I played all but 4 games on the list.


Also credible because Fallout NV is there and Fallout 3 isn't.

Still wondering why Fallout 1 beat Fallout 2.
F1 had too many removed content, which had to be reenabled due mods.

For example exposing the spy in boneyard so the ending was always the bad one.

But I guess the votings were really US based.

While I prefer BG2 over Planescape in EU Gothic 2 and TES and other classical themed RPGs would receive more votes.
Fallout 1/2 would score at #13/14.


Also I bet most devs didn't even play most of those games.

I remember playing Darklands when I was far younger, but I doubt I'd be able to return to it today.
A game truly deserving of a nice remake, even a modest 2D one.

I also played most of the list, but none of the Wizardries and Ultimas.

While I would understand that 1-7 are missing Wizardry 8 got quiet some reputation.
