LS Marauder in need of some serious advice.

Hello guys.

I'm in need of some good advice regarding my build.
I'm having serious problems passing through the game after reaching Merciless.

When I reached Act 3 in Cruel I was shocked how much damage the mobs did.
I did get to Merciless but boy it was hard! (Loved the challenge tho :) )
Even normal packs of mobs (10+) had me port to town often to avoid dying.

When I did get to Merciless the mobs just slice through my life like butter.
I always tried to max my resists, have as much armor and life as possible.

I've reached the Ledge on Merciless now but I'm fearing I will hit a brick wall when I reach Brutus.
Seeing how much damage I take from normal and rare packs I think Brutus might even 1 shot me.

When I look at people streaming PoE, it amazes me how they make it look so easy.
Alot of people I've seen have 5x or more DPS then me around the same level.

At this moment I have:
297.9 DPS
1.85 attacks per second
3612 armor (5201 with Determination)
89.5 Life regen per second
74% Fire Resist (on Merciless)
66% Cold Resist (on Merciless)
61% Lightning Resist (on Merciless)
-33% Chaos Resist (on Merciless)

Skills I'm using:
Attack skills: Lightning strike with Blood Magic, Weapon Elemental Damage, Melee Physical Damage
Aura's: Determination and Vitality
Curse: Temporal Chains

I feel so squishy in Merciless, I can't even imagine me running maps with this character.
I would apriciate if someone takes a close look at this and gives me some good advice.

Seen a lot melee streamers?(GS and LS isn't melee, it's a ranged attack with melee weapon ;) ) no! cause melee is pure crap in Path of Ranged Exile, marauder is not a proud succesor of D2 barb, there is only 1 tank in this game - decoy totem.
