I dont like my spectral throw, what to do?

Hey everyone, i have been playing for quite some time now and know how the game works, but im still new to all the builds and gems etc.

Now, I have allways loved spectral throw and it was one of my favourite builds but now when I have started to play more serious I have started to hate it, I dont think it does that much damage and I just think its not that good on my build or maybe I just build wrong who knows, so my question is, do enyone know a new build I can go for with my current gear and skill tree besides the spectral throw that is reasonable cheap, because I realise that I do almost 0 damage compared to my friends so its kind of boring :P

I kind of want to keep my axe cause I really like it and dont have any money etc to get something better.

I am currently level 49 and just started act 3 on cruel if that matters :)

Since you're only level 49, I would just start over with ele buzzsaw - it's cheap and effective and imho far superior to 2h phys builds.

Your current build can't really be fixed cheaply.

If you were really rich you would do a low life 1handed Spectral Thrower.

Idea of this thread, if I am right, is "why I do almost 0 damage, while using level 13 weapon at level 49?".
Buy something for your level with ~100% increased phys damage roll and have fun.

Yes, upgrade your weapon. You are lvl 49, the item level of your weapon is 13. Any rare or magic 2 handed weapon you find will do more damage than the weapon you are using
