Marauder Duel Strike?

I am lvl 42, and I use Duel Strike. Its a green gem, but its my biggest attack at 1244.1, is this normal? I have 2 support gems with it Weapon Element Damage(lvl 10), and Melee Phy Damage(lvl 5). Any help would be greatful

Double Strike is two 70% attacks vs Heavy Strike's 150%. HS has the knockback which some find annoying and is better at stunning. DS will proc life on hit and flat elemental damage twice. Since I'm planning on stacking auras I'll be switching to DS at higher levels, but for now I use HS.

edit: Oops, I misread your post. Dual Strike is probably your best bet while dual wielding.
