what do you think about this concept for a new currency

An orb which will either allow a 7th affix on an item to be added OR randomly removes one mod permanently.can ONLY be used after item has 6 mods.if it succeeds,it will simply allow one more exalt space of any affix left available.

of course eternals cannot be used on the item after this orb is used for obvious reasons.

seems like a great sink for mirror items.
