I'm new is it true that this game is dead

I find that it strongly reminds me of diablo 2, just, sadly, no runewords

I'm just scared that by the time I make it to max level no one will play it anymore. I don't know if you can see my characters but I don't have any high levels because I am seeing which builds I like.

So is this game actually dead or are people just saying that?
Also any plans for runewords?

BTW I came from diablo 3 and diablo 3 is garbage now, don't buy it

Well I saw a post saying that there were less people on this game than there are in diablo 3 public torment one adventure mode games, just got me worried.

Far from dead. You just came mid-season, so you miss a good deal of the early action. Still a lot to do. D3 has a much larger player base due to being a Blizzard creation, I think.

Just jump in and see for yourself if you can have some fun with others.

Where did you see this post, the diablo 3 forums? Diablo 3 will be on life support again in a few months just like after vanilla. When you are able to place on the leaderboards as a casual player then it's time to be worried.

There are currently around 150-200k daily active users. It varies based on a number of factors, and can be a lot higher soon after recent marketing pushes or content releases.

That is a quote from Chris about 2 weeks ago now...so no it's not anywhere near dead.

You can log on and play, participate in races, farm for loot or currency, trade with and group with other players...

Specific number counts mean nothing, as long as you can do the above.

this game is dead 2 years ago according to those doom sayers.
