Link my account to steam?

Hello there.
I'm coming back to path of exile after 9 months or more of break and I just saw I can have it on steam. So I want to know what do if I want to use this account in my steam instead of a steam account as I've heard...do just get a login screen like before where I can put my info or is it changed? What do I have to do to keep playing my characters? Thank you for your time Going Hardcore! ~

From the looks of it your account is already linked to a Steam account. This means that you should be able to login through Steam and have access to your characters.

Yea I remember now doing it before I left but I never actually got to play through steam because I didn't want to re download the whole thing.
