Before I reply to your thread I wanted to say that if your not going to read the comments then I feel that you shouldn't have made the thread in the first place. I mean you want other people to read it so its kind of courteous to read the responses.

On topic: Believe it or not 90 fusings with no 5L is pretty normal. I'm a little more suprised if it was a white item that you were scrapping to full quality first. I've had a good experience with that recently so it seems like a good strategy. Anyway I never try to 5L anything with less than 100 fusings and even then its far from guarenteed. I don't disagree with you though that its not a great system, causes too much frustration. But when it works for you I will say that it feels good then, just not sure if its worth it.
