Your first experience at Path of Exile?

I still remember the first time I tried path of exile months ago, made character and logged on character started to stand up and game crashed :P then I logged back in and the npc with first quest had no quest anymore since without picking it up it was in quest log and there was a skill gem and wand in my inventory I never picked up or knew about and wand never auto equipped with no idea how to slot gems in the weapon or anything and died like 5 times on first beach as a witch punching enemies with them hurting alot since they lived so long before putting game aside as not worth trying lol.

Umm why is this in feedback? It was intended as a general discussion for players to reminisce which is why I put it in there and the title is what it is.........
