How does race season seven rewards work?

Say I earned 5 points in on event and 5 points in the next event.

Would these points add up for the season? and also if I got 80 points at the end of the season, would I just get the sword or everything up to 80 points including the sword?.

Those two events would net you 10 points.

You are awarded each reward individually as you pass the corresponding milestone.

check your stash, you should already have an extra tab with a nice belt :)

To finish this up.

You look at the graph for race rewards, check where total number of race points is and you get everything left from there.
