I found a thing in Lioneye's Watch and it me to squeal like a piggy.

I don't really have any good way to preface this, so I'm just going to throw it out there.
 This little guy was just chilling out by the Lioneye's Watch waypoint in Cruel. He wasn't a pet, he was just enjoying the view, and was all by himself before I wandered over to give him company and begin exhibiting maternal instincts. Does anyone know anything about this little fellow? Because the bottom line is I want one. I want a baby rhoa to follow me everywhere, and I want it yesterday. That is a baby rhoa pet, there is a bug where pets get stuck next to portals and waypoints when you zone into town. The baby rhoa pets were offered in the Open Beta Supporter Packs, and are thus unavailable now.

Thanks for the info, even if it broke my heart. Alas, I shall have to resign myself to stalking Open Beta Supporter Pack purchasers and hovering over their baby rhoas until such a time that another update grants Vaal Orbs the potential to corrupt fishing rods into being able to entice other players' pets into following you instead.
