How long will PoE lasts?

To PoE staffs and developer, sir/mam can you give us guarantee that PoE will lasts? becoz some mmorpg online games shut down! if that comes, all our time and hard efforts will be in vain!! and also will PoE never come to p2p? thanks, i just want an assurance from you or want to know you point of wiews here thanks and more power to Poe! :)

Bugs and errors or game imbalances can be fixed, leaks etc... and so on. although it is a real problem but actually if youre gonna think deeply, a big big problem for players is the game shutdown dnt ya think?

It will last as long as people donate through Micro-transactions and supporter packs.

It is an ingenious way of keeping people paying a game without charging a monthly fee (PTW fireworks effect for example was a great idea).

If most of the ppl that play the game for free left, it would not be that much of a loss...but it would have a snowball effect on the entire trading basis that this game is built on.

And sadly, as long as ppl can farm with tons of bots and sell for real $ it will be around for a long time.

Their April fools joke earned them around $23,000. While they implied that it was a large day for sales, compared to a normal one, it shows that they do make enough money to support this game. Whether you want to continue to play it or not is your choice.
