3 sec lag\freeze with DC every 10-30 min. - EU

hi,

since the last patch i got frequent lags and disconnects every 10-30 min.
everything on my screen is freezing for 3-5 seconds ( i still can move but cant pot. if use a flask i hear the sound but nothing happens ) and it ends up in a DC.
thats realy anyoing and its horrible for racing.
i tried alot in the meanwhile. switched from steam client to stand alone client, switched back. updated driver, updated windows, reseted router, played with different gfx settings, different sound settings. im pretty sure now the problem is not on my end.

here is my winmtr log:

Sounds to me like a video issue to be honest with you.

If the screen freezes but you can still hear things going on, then it sounds like the screen stopped responding to inputs (likely causing a video driver crash/restart).

Sometimes those are documented in the Windows Event Log with a driver reset. Try checking in there for the time around when your last freeze happened and see if it shows any errors.. specifically related to Path of Exile or your video card.

nope i still can move but everything else is freezing like the monster and shit.
oh, then your description was slightly misleading.

So your video doesn't freeze.. you SEE everything happening correctly... but you get no response from the server to actions performed.

This almost always is a firewall/network disconnection issue. Something breaks communication with the server (doesn't necessarily have to drop the internet connection completely).
yeah well, the question is why does this problem suddenly appear and how can it be fixed. im still 99% sure its not on my side.

Well I"m 99.99% sure the problem isn't the GGG's servers.

Which leaves everything else between you and them as a likely cause.

My first instinct is always malfunctioning hardware/software for firewall/etc... but looking at your trace, you ARE getting packet loss.. which could account for the problem. Not only that, but the packet loss starts on your first hop, meaning it is an issue between your PC and your modem/router.

Are you wireless? If so, try wired. If not, try rebooting your modem/router and see if it solves it. If not, try running WinMTR on a second PC on the network in addition to your own and compare results. If the packet loss only shows up on YOUR WinMTR, then the issue is with your PC, Hardware, or Cable.
ofc its not the server. if it would be the server everyone would have the problem. but it wouldnt surprise me if they fucked something up in the last patch. i mean, jesus, i had bluescreens with my creative soundblaster for almost 2 years now.
anyways, loging with mtr right now until next dc.

i got here always 10+ % loss.

that's not a problem.

packet loss on a single hop is just ICMP mitigation.. not acutal packet loss.

Actual packet loss shows up as loss on one hop and all those following it.

2 DC'S
Was that hard-wired? Do you have a second PC you can run a parallel trace in to check where the issue might be?

That last trace you posted also shows the same amount of loss, and could easily contribute to your disconnections (since the loss is happening on the first hop, it is still within your network).
