Best games you ever played?

Morrowind, ...well, pretty much.

MW towers over everything else, which includes PS:T, both KOTOR games, both NWN's, both Fallout games (pre-Bethesda) and a lot more I cannot remember now. Morrowind tops all games I've played, SKYRIM included.

Brutal game, the chess. "The Suffering" and "Undying" don't come close to it.

Gothic series and Morrowind. Wasted at least 1000 hours playing them.

Love it when that happens! I still listen to the soundtrack every once in awhile. That game consumed my 10ish yr old self.

I really tried to like the Genesis one but it just didn't have that je ne sais quoi.

1.) Fallout 2
2.) System Shock 2
3.) Bioforge

These three are not nearly the games I played the most, but have a special place in my heart, because for various reasons really left an impression on me.

if deus ex numbers among your favourite games you should check out revision mod, it's basically giving deus ex the same treatment as black mesa did for half-life

These may be a bit old school for most, but they are definately my favorite games. I still play them almost daily.

1. Angband - Probably the best roguelike ever made, still has fairly active devs too. http://http://rephial.org/

2. Asylum Mud - A wonderful and complex mud, has some of the hardest quests ever. Its based off of an Abermud but has been modified so much over the decades that it bears very little resemblance to its origins. http://www.asylum-mud.org/

3. Armagetron - Multiplayer lightcycle deathmatch, nuff said. http://armagetronad.org/

4. Unreal Tournament - The first one. It has such perfect weapon balance and brilliant level design its hard not to like.
