Unfounded worry as consiousnesss is something wich can be measured and no such thing has ever been measured in dead tissue. Besides, do you know how freaking long "eternal" is? While it'd be quite awesome to behold the astronomical trainwreck that the merging of Milky Way and Andromeda will produce, before that there's a small hurdle to overcome in our sun's incinerating death throes. That is something I won't feel bad about missing out on.

dude id fucking love being immortal, but unfortunately un-natural deaths such as falling off a cliff, getting run over or being stabbed would still kill you.. i would be a more careful person if i were immortal though

" You could be less careful actually since life is finite = try to live as long as you can and life is infinite = dont worry about dying since you can only get killed by anything other than natural death. Also, you would get to a point where life wouldnt feel fulfilling not to mention you would not want to see WW7 take place and natural desasters that destroy your home and other stuff coming in the future. Not to mention if humans did in fact live forever they would overpopulate the planet big time even faster than they already do. |
