Is there a specific reason the +1 to ele gems recipe doesn't work on daggers?

why would a dev answer this when the answer is already provided?

Thanks for the answer, is there a particular reason though being caster weapons. A wand is as much of a phys weapon as a dagger (they share pretty much the same mod pool)...
