That's debatable imho - remember the ES gloves with cast speed that was bench crafted?

The BiS for ES casters is gunna be the mirror worthy gloves minus one stat + the cast speed on the bench mod.

Whether you can mirror bench crafted items is something else but when new "special mods" come into play, they are gunna be the BiS.

Bench crafted items can be mirrored - they are normal items. (taken from the reddit thread linked GGG post)



Could definitely invalidate some mirrored BiS rares depending what mods are able to be benched onto what slots. (and how good/bad of a roll they allow)

I haven't read that much about the new crafting, but can you add a bench mod to a previously crafted 5 t1 item? Or does the item have to be crafted with the bench from the ground up?

The premise is you can add 1 bench mod per item if the affix slots aren't full.

So yeh, a 5T1 can get ONE OpieOP mod to complete it.

From what I read you can use the bench to craft a mod onto any item with an open affix slot. (so yeah, mirrored items could be reset to w/e 5 t1 imprint they want to keep and then add the new bench mod onto it)




Edit: What's more there is no reason they can't mess around with the PLACEMENT of specific mods even on items that can roll a certain stat (so you could potentially have doubled up affixes like how MF works) -

ie crit damage on amulet, but as a PREFIX rather than as a suffix.



Not saying that that functionality is coming 2 weeks from now but I'd be surprised if they didn't add stuff like that in eventually.

i dont rly think any bench crafted item will be better then the crafted items right now of the fact that you can only get mid tier values therw will be like 1-2 items for a special build but i rly rly dont think it will effect any of st gear everything is perfect and there is no item where 1 mod would be better then its right now maybe like 6% block from the shield rest is already bis , do you know any st gear where a bench mod would be better?

If multi was added on rings, we would need a fresh set of rings. Shield slot could lose the block yeh for whatever - we just don't have the mod table to do any concrete speculation yet :D

i was aware with the crit but what mod would you drop on it and who would ever craft a t1 wed and t1 light dmg ring again? i mean everymod on the ring is 100% necessary accuracy is huge , the res huge the flat es would be the only thing you could dropp for it but would it be better to loose es for even more dmg with this already insane dmg? dont think so

with belts i am pretty sure armour would be great to replace and get something new awesome on it and those are rly rly rly rly easy to craft i mean a 6t1 belt doesnt cost more then 200-250ex to craft if your rng is normal
