Missing characters

I'd say you were likely hacked. Are your characters listed on this website ? If not, you're in trouble.

There's... a login error on GGG's side that's going around. In really peak loads I believe occasionally the wrong login access gets given and someone gets logged into a random account. My account got hit and cleaned out of all my valuables.

It's possible... you got griefed and they decided to delete your characters...

Well I would think the same..but I can't create any new characters. When I hit the 'create' button after typing in a random name, it pauses for a bit and then I get booted back out to login screen with a message in the lower left saying 'Unexpected disconnection occurred' like some of the other threads I've been ready. Seems like a couple people are having the same problems too.

I'm having the same error too.

Issue has been resolved. I believe that one of the following fixed it: A)Turning off uTorrent (apparently I had it on, but no downloads/seeds/queues or anything going though), B)Restarting after some windows and antivirus updates, or C)Crappy internet + one or both of the above.

I honostly think for some reason it was uTorrent, so if you have any torrenting client turned on, at least disable it to log in or see if there is some option that is interfering with the game service. For mods/devs: If a torrenting client is indeed interfering with the game service, here's a heads up for you guys so that you may look into it.

My problem was not fixed by any of the above suggestions.

I am still unable to see any of my characters (or select a league) and I am disconnected within 20 seconds of authenticating with the login server.

After looking at the logs the last thing that happens is

So I'm probably having trouble reaching the login server. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

This is definitely a problem with my computer and not the network. I just tried using the same cable on a different computer and it worked fine.

Additionally my computer was running this fine yesterday.

I'm getting this problem too. I don't run anything except path of exile. I don't download shady stuff surf pron on this comp :\

If anyone has found a fix for this issue, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I'm trying to re install right now.

- Restarted/reinstalled
- Closed torrent clients

* Can't see chars (can see them in the website)
* Dc after 10~ sec
