Best bow skill against single targets

I'm using these gems for boss battles:

I used to get pretty decent DPS with it, but in Merciless it's starting to get a bit low.

I know I shouldn't use life leech, just ignore that. My question is what is the best single target skill combo, involving Burning arrow preferably? (I can't use blue gems.)

And yeah, I know I should probably get a 5-link chest, but I'm low on currency.

If you aren't elemental-specced, the strongest single-target bow skill is currently barrage, not really made for sniping across the field, though.

Try physical projectile damage gem instead of added cold, it's a multiplier.

My damage is ~50/50 physical and elemental, which is kinda bad in this situation.
Physical projectile damage might work, though.

Sure it will, your damage is converted, it's affected by physical bonuses too, of course, that's valid if you don't have a fast bow with some purely nominal physical damage, and high elemental rolls, in which case you'd probably gain more by WED gem.

A little more info might be good.
