Through Sacred Ground incompletable?

Hey there

this has been bothering me a while

I can't finish the quest "Through Sacred Ground"
Q State says to locate the hand in the crypt etc... I'm standing in front of the altar but there is nothing i can loot, no ! on the map.

Talking to npcs doesnt help either and I also didnt accidentially place the hand in my stash (I don't remember finding it on Merciless at all)

what could this be? common error? found a couple of relateds but nothing like this

You did click on the Altar, right?

When you click on the Altar, the Hand will drop. You'll know you have the Altar selected when you hover your cursor over it and the "Altar" label appears. (Forgive me if you've already done this and I've just misunderstood).

bump. similar bug with me but i have the quest item and can't drop it or turn it in. I emailed the support email. We'll see.

Whatever issue they had 18 months ago has been resolved so yours is a new issue.

When you say same error, what do you mean? You don't get the hand to drop when you click the altar or you picked up the hand and you can't give it to Yeena? Did you do as GGG suggested and make sure you're in the right difficulty? What does your quest log say?
