For me, New Zealand tastes like lamb, green mussels and Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough Sounds. Not sure about the "jungle" part but I would think that fern are kinda hard to digest. :-D
fiddle heads are the baby shoots of a fern and they are quite good. If you like that sort of thing.
And I think of mutton and lamb when I think of New Zealand. Can't imagine why?


When I left Florida for Massachusetts, I got here and I heard "but you never saw a cow before" a lot. The term Cowboy? Came from Florida.

What I didn't know? real Maple syrup. (and I hate it.)
