Solo = better loot

If you find solo to be nearly as efficient as group and the loot to be worse, then the group you are playing with is pretty garbage.

not everyone knows a group of high dps players and a 400+ / 100+ culler to reach that sweet spot where group iiq map iiq and personal iiq come together to make loot explosions.

there are only a few builds in the game that work really really well in groups so that thr group doesnt lose effiency.

But ironically what all these "group" builds have in common is that they are often better off soloing with maybe a dedicated culler in terms of clear speed.

This holds especially true when the number one most valid strategy for beating the hardest bosses in the game is to kill said bosses before they start using all their abilities.

Forexample the tornado boss in the ilevel 76 library.

Solo i can kill him in under 3 second so there arent enough tornadoes to cluster fuck the screen.

in a group , he doesnt die in 3 10 or even 20 seconds , yet is tornadoes do the same damage and now there are 5 - 10 times as many of the things .

I can solo every boss in the game, I cant group kill half the end game aoe murder bosses.

Without losing minions , having half the party die or some other negative event happening.

Kill speed means nothing when you have nothing to kill faster.

Or to put it this way, when you don't have higher maps to play even 30% slower, clearing lower level maps on 100% speed will net you far less experience/hour.

Doesn't matter. It is all about one thing. Auras. Almost everyone runs either Hatred or Grace or both on their solos. In groups, you don't need 5 people running it, so you each pick a different one, you should be leveling several in your off hand weapons. The difference between Grace + Hatred vs Grace + Hatred + Determination + Haste + Discipline + some purities is tremendous.

Yeah you're not maintaining high level maps solo.

What if we run say, oooh, about 7-9 auras on our own?

I can do;

Discipline, Vitality, Grace, Purity (3), Clarity, Haste, Hatred.

I could run 2 more perhaps, but I'd rather use some other items instead.

How many do I need?

a solo player ... spend up to 6x as much currency to run maps as group players do.

I think you're wrong here: Yes, a solist invests only 1/6 of the currency a full group throws into rolling a map - but what does he get back? He only gets 1/6 of the loot (one full inventory through his portal instead of 6!); and (in softcore) he's completely out of looting if died: no portal left to rejoin.

And on the other hand, you have to deal up to a lot (depending on your own strength) less with rolling maps: no consideration for what mods others have issues with; so probably less cost to invest for maps.

WE should probably clarify that any build that uses shavrons wrappings or aegis aurora cant be considered a valid build.

they are BIS among BIS

The loot is the experience.

Experience is bought in this game.
Your 6 inventory through the portals yield ~15 Alteration Orbs, a map is worth 5+ chaos (the valuable ones, higher lvl), multiply 5+ chaos by 6 as the number of maps you run.
In the end, you'll end up with 6 inventories of items, 6 maps played, ~6 times more experience at the same cost.

And no, your other hand doesn't have to work like that.
If someone cannot play reflect maps, you won't reroll it just because his build sucks, yes, any build that cannot handle reflect sucks.
The only excusable thing to reroll is a Blood Magic mod.

Better arrange your rotation players, the problem is solved.
