You can go for a DW Wings of Entropy high block (I say high because you won't cap without BoR, it's expensive... BUT, you can use the overlooked item The Anvil) Duelist.
Your main attack for everything will be Dual Strike, but it hurts like fuck. This build can facetank a lot of freakishly hard hitting bosses. Don't forget to link up a good CWDT 4L -- use Molten Shell, Enfeeble, and Enduring cry. Use Blood Magic, let your mana go for a couple of good elemental auras. Something like this, refined for taste/efficiency:

" I'll second this. With nothing more than a 4L Searing Touch that I bought for 20c, I made a witch that has roflstomped every single thing she's come across in hilarious time. 5k+ non-reflectable dps by level 50 or so is just...woof. Hell, it really only needs 2L for SB+Increased Burning Damage, but I threw in a minion+totem ele resist support as well, just because a few specific mobs can be pretty nasty to them. |

" third this. searing touch is recommended but even without it you can still cruise through easily with a +1/+2 fire sceptre than can be easily found as drop or bought for 1 or 2c. i would say its more efficient than ST actually. since u need many links for ST to work good |

bit mana hungry but once you spec blood magic, you can easily reach edn game and run up too lvl 70 map without a 5l :) | |

CoC'ers are pretty baddass atm.
Reasonable gear requirements, can stack a little of IIR, works with 5L, high damage output and clearing speeds. Can play most map affixes, can kill most of bosses. " 10k tooltip should be easily doable, given that my gem is currently only level 13, and is well over 6k.
