Will they ever make a good skill that's comparable to ST?

ST kinda falls off late game compared to other skills unless you have insane gear, and even then other builds like voltaxic crit are stronger.
However i do agree that ST is too strong early game and a good way into mid game aswell

I disagree, you don't need insane gear.

If you do crit dagger st you can easily get good dps on it which is comparable to other skills dps without worrying about reflect unless you go overboard on the dps.

ST will always be good late game though because it lets you do 1-handed + shield + ranged which you can't do with a bow and is arguably more op than Voltaxic crit as you get more survivability (spell block OP) and can get good dps.

Only if a new character comes along with new acts and replaces Scion as poster-girl for PoE. Her default skill >>> ST.

Til then, ST is king.

Volt crit is no different than any other LA build, you're just immune to reflect.
