ISO Help with broken quest

I joined a party to kill Kraityn and i portaled back to town from his area, went into a party members portal and it took me to Kraityn already dead. I didn't get the kill message or anything. It never reset. Can i please get some help?

He doesn't respawn at all...

Just reset the map then kill it again, you have to be near him (at least on the map) when your party kill him.
Please don't die.

Yes, reset the map by holding control and clicking on the entrance. Create a new instance.
