Game and computer crash in passive tree

Cpu: i5 2500k
8 gb ram Radeon HD 6870 1gb win 7 64 I have problems with the whole computer crashing, and it only seems to happen when looking at the passive tree, it can happen after 10 sec, 2 min and some times not at all. It has happened on the two different chars, I've played. Drivers are up to date. Edit: it seems to happen when I actually use a skill point. The screen goes black and some 10 sec later the computer crashes and has to be restarted. Still happening, and it's not only when I choose a skill, as I thought.

I'm having somewhat the same issue. For me, when I have the passive tree open it almost always causes my video card drivers to crash.
