2h Lightning Strike... viable?

A simple question from a new player, I was looking forward to making a 2h Marauder build, but most builds I see include maces with ground slam which honestly I'm not very fond of, so I was wondering is there an end game build that include the use of Lightning Strike, prefferably with 2h swords?
Any advice would be highly appreciated.

2H LS, level 60 currently. About to do oversoul. Seems to work so far, but I need gear. You need gear.
