I would say the reason behind this is with 20 items you take up a big chunk of the channel text. Try to spread out your postings a bit.

Still, a 24 hour chat ban seems pretty harsh without any form of warning whatsoever.

You know if they would just establish an official set of rules, and require people to read it before they log in the game, then people wouldn't be surprised when they get muted.

Enforcing things on players with no established set of rules is not very fair. You can't assume people know how to act. You can't do that in the real world, and you definitely can't do that on the internet.

If you mute someone over some BS, that guarantees they are going to be mad over it and likely not ever support this game in any way. If GGG wants to keep biting the hand that feeds them by muting players, changing names and stuff with no official rules in place, you are going to piss off a LOT of people, pretty much everyone that happens to. I don't remember the mods acting like this in closed beta, why do they start acting like faggots now?
