Disconnected, unable to log back in

Within 10-15 minutes of logging in, the game disconnects me, and I get the "disconnected unexpectedly" message that some others are getting. It boots me to the log in screen, so I try to log in, but it doesn't let me back in. I have to close the client and come back later. But then the same thing happens again. Very little of my progress is saved when I am able to finally log back in. This problem is unique to PoE, I've never had anything like this happen before with other online games.
