I've tried multiple " fixes" now including:
-deleted Shared Content folder -running Pack check -admin mode -lowering grahpics I'm redownloading the whole content pack folder which will take a while. Gonna post if it helped or not
so is this happening to everyone running a 32 bit OS?

in running win 7 64bit 8gig ram and it's also an issue for me. most apprent in act 3

Started happening to me to, too, exact same error message
3GB RAM, Win7 32-bit. Also happening only in Act III - from Battlefront upward.
I remember similar issue back when I started playing in closed beta in Act 2, the -gc2 and -gc1 commands helped a bit, but I remember someone saying -nosound worked some magic as well. Though I wasn't able to effectively play past that point until they fixed it in a patch at a later date.

Yea, hopefuly they will soon also optimize Act III in terms of perfomance and memory leaks...

Im running a 32 bit Windows 7. Happens most often while farming Lunaris 2-3 and going back to town. PoE crashes each 30 minutes of playing. I often crash when getting back to Sarn from Eternal Lab.
Tried everything GGG support suggested (low graphics, -gc2, redownload, etc. etc.), still happening. Is there any fix for it planned for the near future, and if yes, when? IGN Kinnat (S) / Sihaam (S) / Aedhammair (S) / Ranulfr (S)

Act III virtually unplayable. I can't go more than 15 minutes of playing without a crash :( Really hope this gets worked out. 32bit windows like most people is my issue.

act3 big issue. to hear you say its not something that can be quickly fixed is not right. diablo 3 works just fine...
