I usually use something called fraps http://fraps.com/
and then edits the videos with sony vegas 12(any version works really) http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/trials/vegaspro Note: The full versions aren't free, if you want an easier and completely free way, you can download hypercam (think 3 is the newest version) and use windows movie makes, you cant get the best quality out of it, though it's 100% free softwares It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

TPB or WBB have all the free stuff u need.

Bandicam is recommended also. It is free & doesn't cause the fps drop that Fraps 'can' cause for many.
