Game trade?

This is a question mainly for the admins, or anyone who wishes to answer.

Would it be considered wrong to trade, say, a copy of a game, gifted via Steam, for a beta key?

I realize the big step it would take for someone to want to do business off the forum were they to accept, but I'd be very willing to trade a copy of Portal 1 (sure it's a bit common these days) for a key.

I've seen a wide variety of game being offered for a beta key.

The problem with that is the huge scam chance from both parties...
