went from a 4890 to a gtx660...
roughly doubled my gpu, maybe more. Did not effect PoE much at all. (smoother frames, average isn't much different.) Does however improve other heavy eye candy FPS games. PoE desperately wants a modern updated OS... buying win7-64 improved the HELL out of PoE completely on its own... prior to my other upgrades. (had to reactivate due to the upgrades though lol!, win7 considers a video card upgrade to be a major system change! ) |

But It still boils down to PoE perks. Or something that will actually help other games as well. Like Skyrim. (Won't help you not get eaten by a bear, but the game will be smoother.)
Buy the card. PoE will be here for sometime. |

Well I got the champions pack for now and I can do the card too :O only problem... hmmm now I won't be buying a billion steam games lol
