You should try demanding and demeaning people into giving you a beta key.

I'm in the same boat as OP & thousands of others waiting on a beta key.

I entered a bunch of contests, monitor the random giveaway when i'm on the computer, and try to be an active participant in the community.

I'm not begging for one, just hoping I get one soon as I doubt my sanity would last until open beta. I seriously wake up every morning with a Christmas-y feeling & hop on my computer first thing to see if I got my name drawn overnight.

It actually sounds kinda pathetic now that I type that out :P
