Quest Bugged?

Just started playing now, partied up with 2 friends, whilst 1 was catching up the other decided to be an arsehole and do the Tidal Island ahead of everyone else and now the other 2 of us can't get the quest item at all. Any ideas? or are we going to have to restart...

The instance will reset if left empty for 8 minutes, or you can force it to reset by control clicking the entrance and selecting New.
