Idea for build, feasible?

I'm totally new to PoE but I had an idea for a Marauder and wanted some feedback. I'm a pretty passive player and I like the idea of totems. I was thinking of making a marauder and focusing heavily on tanky abilities and trying to get the two totem ability that takes away all of the damage of your attacks.

What I was thinking was to use that one skill that taunts all your enemies when you use it to protect my two totems. Even though the attack won't do any damage will the taunt part of it still work?

Basically I want to lay down two totems, spam the taunt skill to keep mobs focused on me to protect the totems while I tank the mobs, and then let the totems burn everything down.

Feasible?
