Bye Bye PoE ... Cu "not" very soon

So,

I've been around for a long time already and supported this game financially whenever I could. I like a lot what GGG did, but

the Diablo III Reaper of Souls PTR, and the Reaper of Souls Closed Beta just started. With that said I will probably quit PoE for a very long time. I might check back now and then, but my primary gaming time will be in Sanctuary ...

I had fun leveling my lvl80 Nemesis Shadow and another lvl 73 Nemesis Shadow.

Now it's time for something else ...

PoE ... cu "not" so soon this time ...

Build of the week #9 - Breaking your face with style http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_EcQDOUN9Y

You won't be alone. Xmas coming. Come the first of the year poes #s will be dismal.
Nothing has changed in ROS. The game is still the same dumbed down shit with uorginal game play and uniques. You know what with the loot 2.0 system? they just upped the stats by 10 and then multiplied it. It still got all the flaws as diablo 3 vanila. There is absolutely 0 item and character development. Is like blizzard decide to make an ARPG but without the role play element. So yea unless you a fan of arcade games you will be back in a week thats how long it took me to get incredible bored.
yup i think im going to take a break soon also im just burnt out atm
i already gave away close to 10+ ex worth of gear because i cant be bothered with trading anymore.
and no im not leaving to play d3 lols
D3 is too much of an arcade game. I was VERY upset after I bought it and realized they did away with skill trees or any customization at all. Took all the fun out of making new characters. Now, once you make a single type of a character, that's all you need. The beauty of D2 was you could remake the same characters but tweak them in new ways with the skill tree or passive points to make entirely new builds and new play styles.

D3 = worst piece of garbage Blizzard has ever produced. They should just stop working on it and just release a graphics/driver update for D2. That would probably make me start D2 again.
The only thing that sounds remotely nice is the dynamic difficulty. Seems more like skyrim to me.
Being tired of a game is nothing new. I left D2 several times before giving it up for good.

Have fun with your new friends. Many of us will still be here should you come back.
I don't hate Diablo3, but I like PoE a lot more. If I get into the beta, I will probably give it a 25%/75% time split with PoE. Then adjust if I do or don't like the changes.
Have fun.
