Theory Craft: 9-10 Aura low lifeRF Build.
Reasoning/Inspiration
So I'm currently working on an Explosive Arrow EB/EE/AA/IR/MoM witch that can run 6 maybe 7 auras (currently level 53 and running 5 auras) and thought to myself, why not adapt this build for Righteous Fire! I'm still relatively new to the game but I love theory crafting and would love any advice and critique on this build. Skill Tree Key nodes Pain attunement, iron reflexes, and zealot's oath Important attribute bonuses from skill tree 4.5% of Life Regenerated per Second, 96% increased Armour, 158% increase max ES, 130% increased EV, +72% to all res, 24% increased EV and Armour The tree is currently at 110 points used but I'm hoping to optimize it to 90-99 points so that it would be operational at 70/80. Auras http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Vitality http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Discipline http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Grace http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Clarity http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Purity_of_Lightning http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Purity_of_Ice http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Purity_of_Fire ?http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Determination? ?http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Arctic_Armour? The large amount of auras is possible because the skill tree gives us 41% reduced mana reserved which when combined with a level 20 reduced mana gem allows us to run even more auras. Blood magic also plays a big part in this because that is how we will be achieving low life. Uniques I'm thinking of running
Spoiler
*Questionable* http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Immortal_Flesh This belt is an item I recently acquired and is a big part of the inspiration behind this build. It is very hard to balance but it just gives excellent stats for a low life RF build due to the HP regen. It's downsides are the -resistances but that is taken care of through the skill tree which gives us 72% to all resistances. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Rise_of_the_Phoenix for the bonus to maximum fire resist and overall resist bonuses http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Alpha's_Howl for more reduced mana reserved and +2 level bonus to aura gems. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Araku_Tiki for the 1.0% increased life regen http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/The_Blood_Dance for the 1.0% increased life regen per frenzy charge http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/The_Searing_Touch will be equipped in the other weapon swap slot to activate then swap out. Ideal links would be 5L/6L for RF, increased AOE, Increased Burn damage, Fire Penetration and one more support gem I haven't though of yet. edit removed starkonjas. starkonja reduces your damage dealt on low life not the damage you take

immortal flesh + righteous fire = nono you need a good 88-90% fire resist to sustain it
if you are trying to run a bow build you cannot use a shield with a bow and you absolutely NEED rise of the phoenix for righteous fire. so your build could maybe work but you couldn't use righteous fire with a bow or immortal flesh belt also just an fyi pain attunement gives you more spell damage and bow skills are not spells. Your resists wont be nearly high enough to run RF. Explosive Arrow is also EXTREMELY resource hungry and provides no leech when run to counter the degen. They are two things that don't really go together.

He did not say that he would be running an explosive arrow build with 10 auras. If you read his guide, he said he'd be using a rise of the phoenix shield. Also, it is possible to bring his fire resist up to 95% with the help of a +3 to fire gems weapon; doing so will more than allow him to feasibly run the low life righteous fire build.
Do not use an immortal flesh if you plan to run this build; it will completely gimp your ability to run righteous fire by severely reducing your fire resistance. Do not plan on running any skills on mana, as all of your mana will be reserved if you plan on running 9-10 auras. No need to use the mana leech node because of this. Optimize the tree a bit more as well. Looks like it might have potential. It won't fly in hardcore though. Last edited by CommanderSauce on Dec 11, 2013, 1:20:34 PM

I never said that I would be using EA for this build. Probably just pure RF
