Flame totem and loud popping noise when exiting PoE

Not sure if anyone else has these problems.
My first one is that my flame totem doesn't work when i summon it next to a wall, in a doorway, or next to a pillar. Second is that whenever i exit the client i get a loud popping noise and now make it a habit of muting my computer before i exit. Anyone else have experiences with this? |

I heard the popping noise upon exiting before, doesn't happen every time, though. I think the flame totem bug is known.

It is a known bug. It also happens to monsters that get "stuck" to close to something and stops attacking, just lets you kill it.

I just heard the popping noise tonight for the first time. no idea what caused it...
The game does not adapt to you, you adapt to it.
