Completely noob to path of exile, first time Spectral Throw build[HELP PLEASE]

I decided to make my own spectral throw scion. I haven't even played scion yet, just about unlocked. I'm playing on standard league and wanted to try make my own build but I'm not too familiar with what gear I should go with etc.
so, I put up the basis of my skill tree here so far:

Tell me what you think, give some inputs, maybe reccomend some gear? I'm fairly familiar with the mechanics and such so it won't need to be explained but I just really need help with the gear part and some input on my build and maybe what links to use. I'll save this thread and use it and basically experiment as I go along so any viable information input is good :=)

so far I see a lot of one handed damage, wasted points in elemental resists, and wasted points in life regen over time. I don't see you putting out any damage at all with this build. Also, why do you want to go Mana over Blood Magic? too many mana and int points being utilized
