Cant finish shadow of vaal in coop

i've had the apex in my inventory, i did the bandit quest and got the reward. so when we finished to kill the boss my 2 partners went to the sewer while on my side i coulnt. it says : you have to put to apex on the pyramid. but i did, since i dont have it in my inventory.. so im screwed in act 1 because i cant redo the bandit quest...
could some1 help me ? | |

Did you die or leave through a portal and come back after he died?

i tp by accident before we started the quest, while we were in the areea

before he spawned fully? and were you there when he died?

yep, and it was kind of weird at first. it took some time (5-6sec) before he more. more time than he usualy do to be honest..
