Need help with survivability on Ignite/Ele Prolif

I'm trying to play as a fireball ignite with elemental prolif, so far its been working. I have two issues though.

when it comes to fire resist mobs, i do almost nothing, even with Vulnerability or Flammability curses, right now I'm testing Ele Equilibrium, but it isnt working out so well since I have cold snap+increased AoE on my secondary weapon and switching back and forth is a pain.

Next is survivability: I can't take a hit, I'm at 2k hp, and about 2100 armour(36% mitigation) but it feels like im just taking too much damage.


The goal of the build was to be somewhat fire and forget, but with a some survivability.
