Locked areas show up before removing obstacle
In multiple areas, I've completed a quest which unlocks a new area (for instance, stabbing the tree with Maligaro's spike, unlocking the sewers with the sewer keys), and tried to open the area.
Multiple times now, I've found that the area itself will show up before I've activated the blocking entity (e.g., in the screenshot below, the Slums Sewers show up as a clickable entity before the sewer grating has been opened). This is distracting, as I find myself clicking frantically on the Slums Sewers entity rather than the Sewer Grating entity. The Slums Sewers entity is the only one that shows up initially, and I have to hold the show items button to cause the Sewer Grating entity to appear as a clickable item. Clicking the Slums Sewers entity before activating the sewer grating entity does not let you enter. This same issue also happens with the candle in the Library, but you can enter the blocked area without activating the candle. Presumably, the entrance to the blocked area shouldn't be visible to the player until after the blocking entity has been dealt with. ![]() This thread has been automatically archived.
