Multiple connections from the same public IP address?

Does Path of Exile allow multiple simultaneous connections (by different users) from the same public IP address? I gave the beta key I was just sent to my 18-year-old daughter, and she and I were trying to play together; but, IPv6 not being available from my ISP, we're NATted behind one single public IP address, and one or the other of us was constantly being disconnected.
